Elves of Finnish folklore live in the forest and surroundings of villages in countryside. They are quite shy and rarely seen by human eye. They are friends with all the animals in the forest and take good care of them. Usually they are kind to people as well, but if we misbehave and cause damage to the nature, they will come to tease us with small tricks. That is their way of reminding us how to be humans.
